Negan is so delightfully awkward - so blunt about the hole in Carl's head, but then genuinely apologetic when Carl starts crying. His initial interaction with Carl is probably my favorite thing ever right now. Okay, so, comic Negan - I have so many feels! I definitely am now and working on being worthy of that title (won't feel truly up to par until I've caught up to current comic issues, though).
I do have a "not worthy" feel because basically everyone else in here has already read the comics and I'm still just catching up, so I just have to say I feel humbled that y'all are looking to me as a sort of guiding force in the thread/group and considering me a superfan. but, nah, my instinct was on the mark and I love him even more now, haha! Hell, for all I knew, by the time I got to him in the comics, I might've ended up regretting my life choices here of becoming invested so early. And up until recently, I only knew 12 minutes of Negan from the season finale, the Wikipedia summary on him, and a few random comic panels found on the Internet.
I hardly knew anything about JDM before - in fact, the only thing I'd seen him in prior was "The Watchmen" and that was so long ago that I have almost no memory of the movie. I'm such a newbie with it! Heck, I only just joined the forum a month ago (although I had been lurking off and on before for a while). I really like organizing things so it was important to me to get a lot of what I felt we needed/wanted set up, so it's great to hear folks are liking the set-up so far!Īnd I can't help but chuckle at the "superfan" comment. I ended up changing my profile settings to, I think, Pacific Time just so posts made at, say, 12 noon my time would actually show as 12 noon my time on my screen. I'm Eastern U.S., so that's my time zone, but if I select that as my profile time, then the forum timestamps on posts are off by, like 4-5 hours.
